A CLOSER LOOK

The cord used on all of the Mionix mice are extra long and have the best braided sheath of any mouse I have seen ever reviewed. One other nice feature not normally found on all mice is the ferrite core that is used to reduce EMF interference that may try to hop a ride on the shield of the mouse cable. The last thing is the gold plated USB connector which will insure the best possible connectivity.

As stated earlier the mouse is shaped so as to fit the human hand and from what we have been able to ascertain it is meant for a large hand like mine. My wife found the overall size to large and she stated that the buttons were being pushed even when she was just trying to grip the mouse.

The DPI adjustment buttons use a change of color behind the roller wheel to let you know how you have it set. The slowest setting which is 400 DPI is Blue then it increases in speed by 200 DPI with the colors being Turquoise, Red, Baby Blue, Aqua Blue, Violet, Green.

We found the roller wheel to be easy to use and it has a very positive detent feel to it so that you can step up or down without it feeling mushy. Along the left-side of the mouse we have the two programmable keys, the various options you can see them to will be shown when we show the software for the unit.

The of the Saiph mouse has three oversized Teflon pads which will aid in the mouses ability to slide and glide properly. There is also a small decal that surrounds the opening for the Laser beam and it states that this mouse usea gmaing grade laser.
