What do the the ASUS A8N32-SLI, DFI NF4 SLI-DR and ECS KN1 SLI
have in common? They all love memory with exceptional low
latency and tight timing. It used to be we were looking
for memory that that had as high a DDR rating as we could
possibly find but the tables have now turned as the new
NF4 breed of boards are quite content to operate with memory
that has a DDR rating of 3200 or even 4400 and slightly above.
The Corsair TwinX 3500LL Pro memory was in a
press release where they announced that they would be partnering
with Asus Computer. Here is how Corsair announced it in
their release.
Corsair Memory is partnering with ASUS to launch jointly
our upcoming new products: Corsair XMS-3500LL PRO memory
and ASUS A8N32-SLI DELUXE/WIFI and A8N32-SLI DELUXE
motherboards. Why the double launch? Because as industry
leaders, we're working closely to provide the ultimate
overclocking and performance bundle. Throughout the
development process we have validated each of our
products on the other's platforms and worked closely to
exploit every opportunity to ensure the combination
optimizes performance.
As
the first boards to support NVIDIA's 2x16 SLI
technology, the A8N32-SLI Deluxe series features dual
PCI Express 2x16 slots running at full speed to liberate
graphics cards from the narrow bandwidth platform of x8
speed only. This and other features make this new series
the top performing AMD-based motherboards — and also one
of the greatest overclocking boards around. Corsair
XMS-3500LL PRO is uniquely designed to maximize and
realize the potential of these innovative boards. At
nearly 438MHz, the new Corsair 3500LL PRO is the first
to address the need for high memory density at extremely
low latency. Featuring an individual module capacity of
1GByte at CL2-1T, the XMS-3500LL PRO is optimized to
unleash more AMD based system performance than the
competition.
