THE CABLES

Molex Connectors SATA Connectors 4-Pin and 8-Pnm connection

The cables used on Turbine Power are the best quality of any cables we have seen in modular power supplies, not only are they 100% shielded thanks to braided covering that runs the entire length of the cable but each cable also has what I would guess to be some sort of ferrite core on the end of each cable which will stop any RF or EMI interference from trying to walk up the shielding.  All of these features combine to provide you with the cleanest possible signal being delivered to your motherboard.

3-Pin fan connectors   Power supply Chamois

All of the Molex connectors also have the D-Ring quick disconnect, making them far easier to remove than the standard white Molex we have used for years.  The fact that the Turbine Power has three connector set aside specifically for fans and dual 12 volt lines will insure that no 12 volt rail is ever over worked.

THE PACKAGING

Aerocool has always been well known for some of the best graphic art work on the their product cartons in the business.  They aren't one of these companies that will try to impress you with fancy splashes of color or cartoon characters either they do by using glamour shots of the product they are peddling as well providing an abundance of information about the product on the outside of the carton.

Front Panel Side Panel Rear Panel

The carton used on the Turbine Power is a typical Aerocool advertising scheme, the front panel is dominated by the key feature of the power supply which happens to be the 120mm double-layer fan, the "Side Panel" which some customers might see if the power supply is sitting on a self in the store shows a complete over view of the entire contents.  Finally moving to the "Rear Panel" it is broken down into two separate areas, the top half show the various connection points with callouts describing what gets plugged into each one of them.  The very bottom part is set aside for the "Four Feature" which were mentioned at the beginning of the review. Overall it is a very clean organized layout that should do exactly what it is intended to do and this is draw attention the product and then provide enough information that the customer is willing to open his wallet.  I think it will work!
