Here we have the mounting column
for both the 5.25" and 3.5" , it
is a simple matter of sliding
the drives into the slots and
then take one of the drive locks
and push it into place to secure
the drive into place by turning
the knob on it.
Air is brought into the case via
the 80mm LED fan that is mounted
to the side-panel.
To help secure things and
help with cable management both
side panels can be removed.
The Nikao Dragonfire Caseis one of
those case that you will either
love or dislike from the minute
you see it. We loved the chrome
accent pieces representing
dragons and swords and though it
brought a nice touch to a case
that would be perfectly at home
as someone's gaming case.
We did mark
off a few points for the such
things as the PCI Slot covers
and the fact that not all of the
fans were supplied, but other
than these two small issues the
case is a pure joy to work with.
The locking clips for the drives
work great and fasten the drives
securely in place. Don't
expect to take the Dragonfire on
a large number of LAN parties
unless Superman is your Frag
buddy, since steel does not make
for an ideal transporting metal.
Other than that it is a sold
case with some great looks and a
fantastic paint job, not much
more that person could ask for
now is there.
A special
thanks to
Nikao for supplying us this sample
