Doom 3 really put the X800 GTO to work when we got to the final round of testing, even at 1280 x 1024 with 4X AA we were still able to get a very playable 34.1 FPS out of it and in my opinion that is very acceptable. When you compare these number to the X700 AGP we reviewed a while back at these same setting it is even more amazing, since the X700 was only able to eek out a measly 31.3 FPS.
