The results we were able to obtain from the power supply after our 30-minute stress-test really surprised use.  Whenever you can run a achieve results where the largest swing in voltage is .07 volts you have found yourself one extremely rock solid power supply.  So about the only thing left to do is look inside and see what kind of construction is used in the power supply and what the size of the heatsinks are. So lets take the cover off the case and take a look inside and see what we have inside.

Conclusion

Since running the tests on the Antec TruePower Quattro 1000 I have since moved the power supply over to my web editing computer which is composed of an AMD +6400, 4-GB of PC-6400 memory, 8800 -640MB video card and 2 TB of hard drives.  The Antec has not missed a single beat.

Packaging: 8.5

Ease of Assembly: 9
Fit: 9
Accessories: NA
Value: 9
Total: 44.5

At its current price of $234.00 it one of the most reasonably priced Kilowatt power supplies on the market today. Plus you also have the Antec name behind you which is worth a great deal, since some of the companies you see listed today selling power supply will be gone in a year or so.

If you and in the market for a solid kilowatt power supply I would look no further than the Antec TruePower Quattro 1000.  With cabling for two PCI-e cards and enough hook-ups for SATA and Molex connectors for just about anything you need, this power supply belongs in your computer case.

A special thanks to Antec
