We reviewed the Vortex power supply from MGE XG a few weeks ago and it proved to be a real workhorse producing numbers that should have been acceptable even to the most hard core gamer. It's also been a while since we had the pleasure of reviewing a high quality silent operating power supply so when given the opportunity to review the MGE XG Magnum 500 we could hardly wait to get our hands on it.

I admit prior to its arrival I went to the Magnum's web site and began to do a bit of reading up on the product so I would be well abreast of what I had my hands on when the product arrived.
