Introduction

It's not enough these days to have an average case an expect for it to be good enough in the enthusiast market, the competition is just to good right now. So to come up with a case that will be well accepted it requires a little homework on the part the of manufacturer if he or she hope for it to be successful. So what do you look for in a good case?  Some people prefer aluminum to steel, myself I find it makes no difference since I don't plan on moving it very often once I have it in place. Some people prefer cases with windows others prefer them without, I feel the same way about removable motherboard trays, they are nice to have but I can live without them if the case is large enough to work inside comfortably.

Choosing the color of your case is purely dependent on your own taste so there is not much the maker can do about that other than to offer a wide range of colors to choose from. Size is also a determining factor, do you want a full tower, mid-tower or server but perhaps the most important thing of all is how well the case is ventilated. One last thing we can't over look is how well the case is made, the last thing we want is to cut our hands as we assemble our system or for the panels to not fit properly.

With all that being said we are going to be taking a look at the newest addition to the MGE XG line-up of cases the X-Case, as we look at this case you will see that MGE has done their homework and has brought to the dinner table a well rounded product that I think is going to very well accepted in the enthusiast market place.

About MGE

MGE was founded in 1990 whose core competency was cases at the time. Our founder sought to dominate the market with well built designs and metal engineering. We founded many great solutions to manufacturing and strength retention within each of our cases. Soon after the success and review of our enclosures, our founder sought to make a name for MGE by manufacturing high performance power supplies that secure a complete system – trouble free from constant on-time.

MGE is committed to pushing the limits of high performance cases and power supplies. And with that commitment to success brings the advent of our newest product line – CPU fans. Our CPU fans are professionally developed and put through a rigorous quality test run such as: sound dampening, RPM speed, high retention, cooling performance and liquid wave testing as well.

MGE pursues its relentless tradition of value, reliability, quality, price, and performance that no other company can match. MGE is the core of what enclosures, power supplies, and CPU processors should be. Each MGE product is quality tested and professionally packaged to meet and surpass the client’s needs with cutting edge design and show-ability.
