One of the most overlooked parts on any computer has to
be the poor lonely little keyboard. I serves no greater purpose than to type
a few letters into our screen when we need them and then it sits idly by
waiting for the next chance to be of use to us again.
Let's take a minute and talk about the changes we have
seen in keyboards over the years.
Take the original keyboard that came with the IBM PC for example, it weighted somewhere
in the neighborhood of 3.5 lbs and the entire frame was made of pot metal.
Then there was the infamous "IBM Chiclet board" used on IBM's PCjr if ever
there was a major design mistake that was it.
In the early and mid-90's we began to see keyboards that
were engineered to be ergonomically correct as the people began to become
concerned about repetitive stress injuries. These designs varied
greatly from keyboards that folded in the middle to fit the angle that you
placed your hands to type, while others went about it quite differently by
re-arranging the keys on the keyboard so that the keys you used the most
were located at your finger tips.
One other change we saw in keyboards in late 90s and the
early part of the 21st Century was the
addition of back-lit keys on keyboards. While some companies
opted to use LEDs for there lighting others went the modern route and used
electro-illuminated lighting. The last thing I want to touch on is the
addition of accessory buttons to the keyboards, this is perhaps one of my
favorite and most used features on all of the keyboards I use. The
ability to open Excel, Outlook, MS Word all with the touch of a single
button is what time saving is all about. Most keyboards also feature
email buttons as well as multimedia buttons to go along with the full
line-up of MS Office buttons.
The keyboard we are reviewing today is the newest
addition to Logisys's keyboard line-up, it features a number of the things I
mentioned early thus making it a truly full-featured keyboard. So come
on all as we check this bad boy out.

We come from a time when
the computer was much like today’s typewriter, and the memory size at the
time was less than the memory in most of our cell phones we are using
nowadays. Computer then was a huge heavy mystery beige box hidden under
tables in our study rooms. Only those pros or computer wizards could use
them. Now computers become so sophisticated and popular that we use them to
chat, to play, to listen to music and watch movies and much more. Computer
and computer industry has being changed so dramatically since then that
computer is now more than just a computing device. We have come through all
those changes and survived through those recession times because we
persevere in enhancing ourselves by the market demands and trends and we
do different.
We had a dream that there was a computer as novel as a toy and as exquisite
as a gift. We dreamed that there was a computer that could glitter all kinds
of lights just like an emerald. We had also dreamed a more people
friendly computer with a choice of more eye catching colors available
instead of being beige only. That is exactly what we have been doing and
working hard on.
It has come to a time for our humble computer to be out from the dark study
room to our spacious living room or anywhere we want. And we do think it is
time now to dress up our computer with different chassis, lighting effect,
sparkling fans and grills, rather than in the same old- fashioned body year
after year. For this, we have designed and manufactured more colorful, more
stylish yet economical computer cases and accessories. With our delicate
products, you will be pride to present your computer at any events such as a
LAN party and so on to boast its beauty and power.
In order to have the latest cutting edge products to respond the demand of
the fast-changing PC market, we have been working closely with our partners
in China and Taiwan to produce our own exclusive brand name products. We are
the home of logisys PC gaming cases, PC modification accessories, Logisys
multimedia speaker systems, and Xenix inputting devices.
