Logitech MX-600 Laser Mouse
Looking at the side of the over-sized MX-600 Laser Mouse you
can see that there are two optional buttons placed along the edge where your
thumb will rest. These buttons can be configured in a number of different
configuration offering you the ability to do numerous tasks without lifting your
hand from the mouse.
You can also see there are to buttons marked Zoom and then
one with a magnifying glass, these buttons a part of the built in search feature
that we discussed earlier on the keyboard. I should mention that I found the
mouse to be extremely comfortable to use as it seemed the mouse had the proper
height to it to allow my hand to cup the mouse without having to splay my
fingers as some mice require. I also felt the buttons had the perfect
tactile feedback just like the keyboard so that you were constantly in control
of the devices and not the other way around.
Looking head-on at the mouse you can see the nice over-sized
scrolling wheel which just happens to be something out of the ordinary as well.
Not only does it allow you to scroll from top to bottom and side-to-side on your
documents, but you can also use the "Document Flip" feature from here as well.
Also further on up the mouse located on what would be the
center spine of the mouse you will find a small LED lamp that will come on when
the batteries in the mouse are just about to go south on you. Just one
more nice feature Logitech has build into this entire system.
With any wire-less device you have to have some means of
communicating with your computer and the Logitech MX-3200 is no different.
Communications are handled by a small USB mini-receiver that can either be
mounted in the stand that is provided with it our it can be plugged directly
into the USB port on your desktop of laptop computer.
Conclusion
The Logitech Cordless Desktop MX3200 Laser has been a pleasure to use as well
as review. It is really exciting to see Logitech introduce new features to
their keyboards that set them even farther apart from their competition.
Things such as the built in Dynamic Search and Zoom Slider and the AgION™ antimicrobial technology
makes the consumers job of choosing which desktop keyboard and mouse set they
want to purchase that much easier.
Prior to using the MX-3200 keyboard I have been using the
MX-3000 which I thought was just about the best feeling keyboard on the market,
now it has a bit of competition. The MX-3200 has features that my trusty
3000 doesn't and that is what will likely swing my vote in favor of the MX-3200.
Overall the The Logitech Cordless Desktop MX3200 Laser is
the ideal accompaniment for anyone's system, whether they be a gamer, graphics
artist or office worker. It's as close to perfection as you can get in a desktop
set.
