The two white receptacles it should be noted are surge protected only so choose wisely which items you decide to plug into these outlets.  I would suggest things like a pump for your water cooling system or even a desk lamp, just don't mistakenly plug your PC into one these.

The input connector used on the ULTRA-Power UPS is the same as you will find on any PC, the nice thing is that ULTRA provides a very heavy duty AC power cord to plug the UPS into a wall outlet with.  Remember this baby when fully loaded is going to be drawing a number of amps of current.  Which is a perfect segway to the circuit breaker which can be found directly next to the input connector.

Here you can see the RJ11/RJ45 connector that will allow you to protect either your modem or your network for those nasty spikes that can kill either one of them.  Located next to it is the USB connector, this is the connector that is used to provide on-screen information about the unit that we will discuss next.

First off let me state that taking this unit apart was easier than putting it back together.  You really can appreciate how well built the ULTRA-Power UPS is until you take the cover off and look and what goes into making one of them.  The first thing that struck me was the wide use of plugs and spade connectors, this allows the unit to be taken apart by section and repaired and the damage section taken out and replaced without having to trash the entire unit.

The other thing I liked to see was the use of extra heavy-duty wire for all connections, when you're dealing with this many amps 12 gauge wire will not cut it.  In the second picture you can see the pair of deep-cycle batteries laying on their side directly behind the massive transformer.

The transformer you see here is used to charge the batteries in the UPS and help keep them charged and ready to go on a moments notice should the power fail.

The last picture is the circuitry for the front LCD display.
