The AeroCool Video Magic / VM-102 does indeed work as claimed,  surprisingly surpassing the Titan Eagle with its fan driven cooling solution. So what makes the VM-102 so much better than say the Titan Eagle?  The fact that it has two extremely long heatpipes doesn't hurt, this allows them to take the heat far enough away from the base of the GPU before the steam inside of the heatpipes is returned to a liquid state and is wicked to the to the bottom of the pipes to start the heat removal process once again.  The thing that is probably key to the VM-102 success is the 30 fins connected to the dual heatpipes,  these fins create a huge amount of surface area with which air can passing over them to helps keep the GPU at a reasonable temperature.

The best part of using the VM-102 is the fact that it is absolute dead silent!  The one small drawback to this type of cooler is the fact that is does use 2 slots and due to the length of the fins it might not fit on all motherboards.  Other than that it should be a perfect match for just about every other configuration.
