All of the
accessory controls are located on the right hand side of the
front bezel and it maybe a handy location it is not my idea
of the perfect choice. Starting from the top you have
a single Firewire connector, next up is a pair of USB 2.0
connectors, followed by the headphone and microphone
connectors so commonly found in these control group and the
last item is the lock to keep the door shut and secure.
You know that Antec is serious about
cooling when you first catch a glimpse of the fan located on the
side-panel of the C-190. The fan which is dubbed the "The
Big Boy Fan" measures a mammoth 200mm is size. Looking at
this fan one would thing that the only the noise would be extremely
loud, let me assure you that that is not the case and as a matter of
fact it is the direct opposite with the fan being very quite.
Located on top the P-190 are two 140mm
Tri-Cool fans, these fans each have speed controls located on the rear
of the case or located inside the case using micro-slide switches.
Add in the optional 120mm fan that you can add at the front of the case
and 120mm TriCool Fan (standard)
at the rear of the case and the one other 120mm installed in the case
between power supply and drives adds a much needed air source to this
region of the case. The last fan is an optional fan that can be
clamped onto the other drive tray to attach at fan to.
At the rear of the C-190 we have
number of interesting features we need to point out here, so let's get
started. At the top right corner of the case you can see the three
- three position switches I mentioned earlier. These are the fan
speed switches for the two top fans and the 1 rear facing fan.
Each fan switch has a Fast - Medium - Slow setting so that you can
adjust the fan by noise by temperature.
Next we have the two
pre-cut holes for running you water cooling tubing and each
of these holes have been protected with the placement of a
rubber gourmet inside to cover any sharp edges. At the
bottom of the case is the number one feature of the case,
that is the dual power supply,
One 650 Watt Neo Power is responsible for powering the
motherboard and add-in cards, while another 550 Watt, handles
your drives and other peripherals. The only interconnecting
cable these two power supplies have is a single wire that
connects the control line between the two boxes so they
operate at the same time.
