Now this is a first for me and one that I
think I will let you decide if it is a good idea or just a gimmick.
Mounted next to the two top mounted Tri-Cool 120mm fans you will find a
flexible LED light that is attached to an 11.5" flex tube. This
will make working on the inside of the computer a bit easier being how
dark it can get in there. My only concern is I don't even touch
anything on the inside of my computer unless it is unplugged. The
light has a cable that must be plugged into a USB connector on your
motherboard and a Molex connector for your power supply.
Here we see the middle 3.5" drive cage
with the two pull out drive caddies each of which has four silicon
spacers that act as anti-vibration devices to keep the vibration of the
hard drive from transferring to the metal of the cage. You can
also see the plastic guides on the top of the cage to insure proper
alignment of the drive cage back into the case itself.
Then we have the small
storage comportment that is located on the back-side of the
drive cage as we mentioned earlier, this will come in handy
for storing the extra specialty screws that are used with
the silicon spacers when attaching a hard drive.
This is the bottom drive
cage that holds four 3.5" drives which are mounted on edge,
here you can see the silicon spacers again as well as the
plastic alignment guides.
This is the place for the optional fan
in front of the middle drive cage, now you really have two choices here.
You can install your two hard drives and place a 120mm fan in this
bracket or you can leave the hard drives out and place a fan on the end
of the drive cage. In all actuality I suppose you could use a fan
here and one on the end of the drive cage, but that might be considered
overkill.
