As we mentioned earlier we have now
installed the 120mm fan on the end of the drive cage thus offering a
rather easy means of providing air circulation to the inside of the
P-190. You can see that this does forbid the installation of any
hard drives.
The area that I have
highlighted in the light-red color is padded on the case
with a material that is similar to weatherproofing tape,
this padding insure that the side-panels do not vibrate
against the side of the case once they are installed.
The Power Supplies
Here is the placard of the Neo Link 550S power supply
that is one half of the power supplies used in the Antec P-190. It
has a three 12-volt rail each of which carries 18 amps of current
maximum and 1 amp minimum. It also has a respectable 20 amps on
the +5 volt rail and 24 amps on +3.3volt rail.
At the rear of each of the power supplies you can see the
square opening that have been stamped into the metal allowing a great
deal of air to pass through the opening and exit out the rear of the
power supply which has a 80mm fan with which it is being drawn out.
