A look at the outside Pt. 3

Looking at the rear of the Gigabyte 3D Mercury you can see the pair of 120mm fans that will help take the warm air out of the case and located directly below them you will find a pair of holes that will allow you to us an external res or radiator with your water cooling system and thanks to the rubber lines openings you have no need to worry about your tubing being cut.

When it comes time to install the power supply into the case you simply remove 4 - thumbscrews for outside of the power supply retention plate and then place the plate on to your power supply. Then slide your power supply into the case and re-attach the four thumb-screws. At least that is the way it is suppose to work.

To get out power supply to fit into the opening we were forced to remove the wire fan guard from the fan, after trying that the power supply fit perfectly. Then I got to thinking that perhaps an easier way would have been to add the "Extended Power Supply Retaining Plate", but it still wasn't enough clearance without taking the fan guard completely off the unit.

I should add that two other power supplies we tried worked perfectly, the only reason we are showing the power supply installed this way is in the event that you have only one power supply and it would not fit this is one option you have to make it work perfectly.
